As longtime blog readers know, Remember the Rowan is inspired by the true story of poet Kathleen Raine and author-naturalist Gavin Maxwell’s ‘some-requited’ love, illuminating their extraordinary relationship and shining a light on the woman behind Ring of Bright Water.
