HOPE to see you this Book Week Scotland...

An annual nationwide celebration of books and reading, Book Week Scotland 2024 will take place on 18–24 November, and I am delighted to be sharing Remember the Rowan at not one but two exciting events!

From 6.45pm on Thursday 21st November, I'll be at East Kilbride Library to highlight why I believe Book Week readers should remember the name Kathleen Raine. The event is free and open to all: please telephone the library team on 01355 220046 to reserve your spot!

Fewer than 48 hours later, I'll then be heading east to shine a light on the story of a woman hidden behind Ring of Bright Water for patrons at Edinburgh Central Library. Chaired by herstorical city tour guide and Mary Somerville expert Ruth Boreham, our conversation starts at 3pm and you can book free tickets online.
